LEGENDARY
SOUND DEVELOPMENT

In a career spanning three decades, Scott Frankfurt has developed some of the industry’s most beloved and widely-used synthesizer sounds and virtual instruments.

Scott’s creativity in synthesis was first discovered at Ensoniq Corp., where he developed the sounds and demos used in professional keyboards throughout the world. His contributions at Ensoniq were realized in several hit products, including the EPS, ASR, MR, TS and KS series instruments. His sampling, voicing and demo work helped launch several key KORG products including the Trinity, Triton and Karma. In 2002, Scott teamed up with Eric Persing of Spectrasonics, and began a remarkable journey as V.P. of Design, developing interfaces, functional specs, core libraries and tens of thousands of sounds in the multi-award-winning Stylus RMX, Trilian, Omnisphere and Keyscape virtual instruments.

Scott attributes the success of his Woodland Hills-based studio to this unique legacy marked by sonic discipline and unbridled creativity.
